Well, I'm sad to say that I still do not have my own internet connection! But I've been kind of busy lately anyway.
Lately I have:
Been sending out all of my funding information for college. Fees are due soon, and I still haven't gotten any money but it will come eventually, and hopefully on time. Orientation is only two months away and I'm freaking out a little bit. The closer it gets to September the more reality sets in, I'm going to college!
I've also been working on a new blog. Right now I'm just writing out a few posts, designing it and what not. I don't want to make it public until I have an internet connection though. It's going to be different than this one. A little bit anyway.
Over the past couple of months I have been teaching myself photography in my spare time. I'm embarrassed to say that I just got out of auto mode and been learning how to take pictures manually. So glad, too, because my pictures really turn out a hundred times better!
Other than that I don't have a lot to say. Been reading a lot of books, going for a lot of walks and enjoying this beautiful summer weather on my balcony. Maybe one day I will be able to afford plants for my balcony, too. Maybe in a couple of years...
That's all I have to say!
Take care,
COLE
PS - my laptop is completely broken now, too. what a bummer.

If I didn't have the internet I would feel like my world is over. So I totally understand. Interested to find out what the new blog will be about.
ReplyDeletelol! I was beginning to think I might be a drama queen but I guess a lot of people would go crazy without the internet. Especially in this great blogging world.
DeleteConfession: I still use auto-mode (I'm no pro!), but I'm learning to break away from it (I'm a new learner, like you). And you're right...The photos come out SO much better with manual! Love the shot up there.
