Day 1 - Blog Every Day in May

About Me in 250 Words or Less

My name is Cole. I have a lovely daughter named Sidney with my boyfriend Nick. I enjoy reading, writing, baking, crafting, drawing, painting, photography, vintage shopping and being outside. Basically I enjoy doing anything that is considered a creative hobby, especially while being outside.

I'm considered to be an introvert. I love being by myself, being all alone in a room without noise, just left with my thoughts. Sometimes my thoughts drive me insane though, but I think I like that part, too.

I'm supposed to be going to college this fall for Journalism! I'm super excited, but it's been a difficult process getting funding for school. I'm hoping it all works out in the end.

And that's about it.

Thanks,
Cole

  1. Apply for every scholarship you can find. I am on a scholarship committee (an accounting sch.)and am amazed by how few applications we receive. Write an honest heartfelt essay, read and follow the directions and you will be above many that I've seen. Good luck.

  2. You are awesome!! I totally wished I could draw and paint. Your family is beautiful. I am an extrovert who often loves the alone time and quietness. I just don't get very much of it. I agree with the above post, apply for a lot of scholarships. Look into grants. The money will come (you may have to pay it back if you take out loans). Journalism sounds like so much fun.

    1. Thank you! I haven't had quiet alone time in many months now, it has been driving me insane. I'm working with someone who is helping me apply for grants and such. It's been a lengthy process.

    1. Thank you :)

Painting is easier than it seems. The most important thing is to have fun doing it, without worrying about the outcome.

Hard work is fine by me! As long as it works out lol.

  4. Good luck with the studying, I'm sure you'll make a success of it. I think lots of bloggers are both introverts and creatives.
