I have some exciting news.
We’ve signed up to be vendors at the Bloomin Earth Festival this year!
The Bloomin Earth festival is an event to celebrate Earth day by offering handmade goods, recycled and upcycled crafts, vintage treasures and provide Eco-friendly information.
On top of having vendors sell their wonderful items there will also be a clothing swap where you can bring a donation of clothes you no longer want and pick out some new clothes. It costs $5 plus a shopping bag of donations to participate, but leftover items and a portion of the cost will be donated to the Anselma House (for women and children escaping violence). So that is pretty awesome! I might just drop off some children’s clothes without getting new clothes, because we have bags full.
There is also going to be recycled crafts that children and their parents can make together. Sidney is going to love that!
This will be our very first time as vendors at a festival, but the good news is that it’s a family oriented festival and Nick, Sidney and my niece Faith will be joining my mom and I for the day.
We’ll be selling items from Little Shop of Treasures and Amity Arts and Crafts.
The Bloomin’ Earth Festival will be downtown Kitchener, Ontario along King St. on Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Have you ever done a craft show or vintage sale? Do you have any tips or advice?
Thanks,
